Unfortunately, execution time of the image generation process is limited by requirement of animation smoothness. Therefore for achieving maximal possible realism this process must use adequate methods for simplification of far parts of scene. Below, both of the subsystems are described in separated parts with an emphasis on presentation of methods for increasing of terrain fidelity and image realism. In the last part of the paper there is shown TMV that is particularly prepared for our interactive system for real terrain visualisation Vis3D.
